Course Title:   CIEH  Principles of Manual Handling

Course Content:   At the end of the course the delegate will understand:

  • The process of manual handling in the workplace
  • Manual handling injuries and the activities which cause them
  • Manual handling assessment and control options
  • Responsibilities imposed by the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 

Cost & Method of Payment:   Off-Site: £70 + VAT per person - Off-Site

                                              Group rates available on request (min 5 delegates)

                                              On-Site: £60 + VAT per person (min 5)  

Includes examination registration fee and certificate, course workbook.
Payment 7 days before course start date


Target Group:

1.  Anyone involved in or about to be involved in manual handling activities at work
2.  Any supervisor or manager with responsibilities for staff involved in manual handling activities at work.

Enrolment Details:    On-line application.

Awarding Body:   Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) 

Qualification:   NVQ Level 2 Certificate by multi choice examination


Course Duration:   ½ day

Attendance Details:  Full time.  Morning and afternoon sessions if required

Start Dates:   As required

Timetable:   Weekdays -   0900 to 1230  1300 to 1630
