Course Title:   CIEH Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)

Course Reference:   RSM 07

Course Content:   At the end of the course delegates will understand the:
  • Definition and types of substances hazardous to health in the workplace
  • Health effects of hazardous substances and their causes
  • COSHH assessments and control options
  • Responsibilities imposed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002

Target Group:   All employees who use or come into contact with hazardous substances

Entry Requirements:   All delegates should have attended a health and safety induction course.

Qualification:   NVQ Level 2 certificate by multi choice examination 

Course Duration:   ½ day   Can be run in back-to-back morning and afternoon sessions

Start Dates:   As required


Timetable:   0900 to 1200  and 1300 to 1600  or to meet local requirements
